NBA Players React To DeMar DeRozan, Kawhi Leonard Trade

As you’ve heard by now, the Toronto Raptors have traded DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Pöltl and a 2019 first round pick to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green.

Whenever there is a blockbuster trade of such magnitude, the internet goes crazy. In this case though, even more so than usual, due to DeMar DeRozan’s loyatly to the franchise.

After being drafted 9th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft, DeRozan has improved every single year. He has been an All-Star four times and was a member of an All-NBA Team in the two previous season.

DeRozan leaves Toronto as the Raptors’ all-time leader in games played, minutes and points. Many of his NBA colleagues weren’t happy about him getting traded, check out their reactions.
