Stephen Curry Wins American Century Championship And Officially Is A Golf Champion

Stephen Curry is a jack of many trades. Not only on but also off the court.
Aside from being a basketball pro, Curry also is a very gifted golfer. In 2018’s Ellie May Classic PGA event for example, Curry’s first professional Golf Tournament, he finished 148th, and in front of six pro-golfers, which actually is ridiculous.
Now, ever since of this past weekend, Curry can even call himself a golf champion, after winning the 2023 American Century Championship.
After an insane hole-in-one, Curry continued to impress and ended things with a buzzer-beater putt, scoring 25 points in the third and final round to win the celebrity golf tournament, ahead of retired tennis player Mardy Fish and former San Jose Shark Joe Pavelski.

Curry became only the third active professional athlete to win the tournament, joining NHL superstar Mario Lemieux in 1998 and NFL kicker Al Del Greco in 2000.
