Players Owned 50% Or Less That Can Help You Win Your Fantasy League

In most fantasy leagues, the deadline for drafts has already past. Some leagues are already in the playoffs, many leagues are approaching them. In most leagues, waiver wire additions are the only option to improve your team.

Check out these players who could finish strong, are owned in 50% of the leagues or less, and could possibly help you reach fantasy glory.

Dejounte Murray:

We still don’t know when Kawhi Leonard will return to the active Spurs roster. While it could be at some point this month (if!), he will come back playing limited minutes, meaning that Murray’s starting spot and minutes are pretty safe for now.

Murray has impressed as a starter and has averaged 13.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.8 steals in his previous six games. The Spurs still have to fight to make the playoffs, and won’t be resting players as much (or even at all) as we’re used to from previous years. Murray is available in 56% of the leagues and definitely a pickup if you have an injured or badly performing player to drop.

JaMychal Green:

The Memphis Grizzlies are among the teams who have the most games left. This means Grizzlies players will have 4-game weeks for fantasy managers during fantasy playofs. An extra game or two could be gold in close matchups and the deciding factor. On top of that, Green has been stuffing the stat sheet lately with 14.3 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 blocks, 0.8 steals and 1.3 triples over his last four games. he’s available in 57% of all leagues, so quickly grab him, especially if you need rebounds or blocks.

Dwight Powell/Nerlens Noel:

I list both of them together, because one player’s fantasy success could become the other’s downfall to fantasy irrelevance. While Dwight Powell, who is available in 63% of all leagues definitely is the safer pick, Noel could be a high risk, high reward waiver pick-up.

Powell is averaging 11.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals on 62 percent shooting over his last five games and looks like he could play heavy minutes until the end of the regular season for the tanking Mavs.

Noel, who also is available in 63% of fantasy leagues, has had a season to forget. He performed poorly to start the season and was in coach Carlisle’s doghouse. When working his way back into the Mavs’ rotation, Noel got injured and only came back last week. But yesterday, he played his first solid game since opening night, scoring eight points, grabbing 14 boards, and adding a steal and a block in 26 minutes.. If he continues to get heavy minutes the rest of the way, Noel could make some noise for the Mavs. High risk, high reward.

Justise Winslow:

The Heat are still fighting for the playoffs and Justise Winslow, for the first time in his career, has been very consistent as of late.Winslow is averaging 12.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.4 triples over his last five while shooting 53.5% from the field. His minutes and production are both trending up and it doesn’t seem like a fluke. There will be off nights, but he should be owned in more than just the 33% of leagues he currently is owned in.

Skal Labissiere:

With Willie Cauley-Stein currently out, and Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos resting every other game for the tanking Kings, Skal has been a blur as of late. The problem, he currently has a sore right knee and is questionable for tonight. Besides that, Labissiere has played really well and is averaging 12.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.3 blocks over his last three games. The Kings are expected to play their young guys more often in the season’s last stages. Labissiere is available in 75% of the leagues.

Montrezl Harrell:

Harrell has been amazing in his last couple of games. It gets even better. Last night, he got to start the second half for Wes Johnson and finished with a +/- rating of +16, so he may keep his starting position. But even if he will come off the bench, he’S worth an add. Harrell is averaging 18.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.6 blocks and 0.8 steals in 23.0 minutes over his last five games and is only owned in 23% of all fantasy leagues.
