Nick Young Makes Sexist Remark About Women’s Basketball, Claims His Account Was Hacked

The NCAA is facing major backlash after a couple of pictures and videos of its tournament facilities have made rounds on social media and garnered quite a reaction from fans and players.

Former Oregon Ducks star and now-New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu got the whole thing started after she posted a glance of the weight rooms between the men’s and women’s basketball teams, highlighting the unequal treatment that the women are receiving.

Women’s @NCAA bubble weight room vs Men’s weight room… thought this was a joke. WTF is this?!? To all the women playing in the @marchmadness tournament, keep grinding!

While NBA players like Kyrie Irving and CJ McCollum were puzzled and even condemned the disparity in tournament amenities, former NBA guard Nick Young also known as ‘Swaggy P’ decided to weigh in on the controversial matter and made a widely differing opinion.

“Man y’all not bringing in the big bucks y’all the JV team and it’s cool”

Drawing a ton of criticism, Young hopped in on twitter and insisted that his account was hacked, consequently suggesting that he would never spout such negative things because he loves women.

“Dang who hack me like that .. I love women I would never !, all the woman I love …we gotta find this hacker going around l”
