Kevon Looney Gives Promising Update On Klay Thompson’s Recovery

After working his way back into form following the torn ACL he suffered during the 2019 NBA Finals, Klay Thompson received new devastating news when an injury he suffered in last year’s offseason turned out to be an Achilles tear.

But Thompson was still with the team as often as his rehab allowed him to, and he seems to be more than appreciated by every single one on the team.

Thompson, who will make a full recovery, recently said that he’s never been hungrier to return.

A couple of weeks ago, Steve Kerr gave a promising update, when he revealed that Klay had taken another big step – running. Now, Thompson’s teammate Kevon Looney discussed the recovery status of Klay Thompson, and thinks appear to be pretty good on that end.

“He’s doing good. His rehab is going to be a long process, but he’s looking really good now. He’s getting stronger… He’s really attacking, he’s really locked in. It’s probably the most focused I’ve probably seen Klay in a long time. So I’m really excited to get him back.”
