Video Showing Nuggets Announcers’ Reactions To Jamal Murray’s Game-Winner Is Absolutely Amazing
Jamal Murray, despite not having the best shooting night, etched his name in NBA playoff history with a jaw-dropping game-winner in Game 2 of the Denver Nuggets’ first-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Nuggets, trailing by as many as 20 points in the second half, completed one of the craziest playoff comebacks you’ll ever see.
With Anthony Davis guarding him, Murray drove to the rim, veered towards the corner, and launched a step-back jumper. The ball swished through the net as time expired. MURRAY CALLED GAME! The Pepsi Center erupted, and the Nuggets secured a 2-0 series lead over the Lakers.
We’ve all seen it by now, but even two days later, it still is all that impressive. What we hadn’t seen however, is the following video recorded by a camera that was fixated on Nuggets’ play-by-play Chris Marlowe and color analyst Scott Hastings as they watched Murray draining the shot. It is amazing.
