Gigantic Beds Being Brought To Disney Hotels For NBA Players

While the average height among American males is 1.76 m (5 ft 9.3 in), the average player in the NBA is listed at 2.01 m (6 ft 7 in).

Since this average NBA height already is slightly taller than the standard bed’s length, many players need custom made, extra large beds, to find a comfortable sleeping position.

With the NBA season ready to resume on July 30, at Disney World in Orlando, the team hotels are now getting equipped with new, ridiculously enormous beds.

MickeyBlog was able to get an exclusive look, as the special beds were brought in at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

“According to our sources, the mattresses are bigger than King and California King and measure 96 inches. They needed to be ordered specially for the players.”
