Are The Brooklyn Nets Going To Trade For Paul George And Create A Big Three This Offseason?

Things could have definitely turned out more successfully for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Starting the season as on of the league’s top contenders, their season was cut short by the Denver Nuggets in the Eastern Conference Finals, after the Clippers had already led the series three games to one.

In the aftermath of the Clippers’ surprising playoff exit, it was revealed that teammates pretty much laughed at Paul George when he was preaching to them to remain committed and stay ready to make another run.

Many believe that the Clippers will now trade away George in the hopes to get back some value. Fox Sports’ Jason McIntyre, wouldn’t be too surprised if the All-Star wasn’t on the Clippers’ roster at the start of the new season.

Additionally McIntyre revealed that one teams interested in trading for him could be the Brooklyn Nets, who have actively been looking for a third star, next to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.

“I’ve heard, at the exit interviews, Paul George didn’t get ‘rave reviews’ from his teammates. My source would not be shocked if Paul George was shipped out of town and the potential landing is the Brooklyn Nets.”
