People notice how much basketball insight Victor Wembanyama has for someone so early in his career. Even though he’s just entering his third year in the NBA as a 21-year-old superstar, he talks with confidence and understanding that make fans want to listen.
That naturally led to naming an all-time starting lineup. It’s a question NBA players get asked regularly. And why not? Fans want to hear from those who have shared the court with the best. So when Wembanyama sat down with Kevin Hart on “Cold as Balls,” it was no surprise the topic came up.
Wembanyama found it hard to name his top five players ever initially. But when it came to his all-time starting five, Wemby didn’t hesitate. Among those he chose, only LeBron James and Stephen Curry are still playing.
“I got Curry, Jordan, Bron [LeBron James], Timmy [Tim Duncan], and Shaq,” Wemby said.
