NBA players have once again gone all out for Halloween, but New Orleans Pelicans guard Bennedict Mathurin might have delivered one of the funniest pop-culture moments of the entire weekend.
The 24-year-old has attracted plenty of attention on social media after appearing in a hilarious recreation of a scene from the 2004 comedy White Chicks, bringing one of the most recognizable movies of the 2000s back into the basketball spotlight.

White Chicks, directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans and starring his brothers Shawn and Marlon Wayans, follows two FBI agents who disguise themselves as wealthy socialites during an undercover investigation.
Although the film received mixed reviews upon its original release, it has since developed a devoted following, largely thanks to its absurd humor, memorable characters and endlessly quotable scenes.
One of its most famous moments features Terry Crews as Latrell Spencer, a wealthy professional basketball player whose enthusiastic performance of Vanessa Carlton’s A Thousand Miles became a lasting internet sensation.
