NBA Twitter Roasted Knicks After Firing Coach David Fizdale
I mean what is there to say about the New York Knicks anymore?!
At least one thing is surprising, they’re always able to reach a new low. After basically missing out on Zion Williamson, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving, trading away Kristaps Porzings and Tim Hardaway Jr., for Dennis Smith JR, the team then ended up signing all of the available free agent power forwards in Julius Randle, Bobby Portis, Reggie Bullock, and Marcus Morris. Guess what, this team ends up sucking.
Who is at fault? Yes, the coach! That’s Knicks logic! Yesterday, the franchise released David Fizdale of his head coaching duties and NBA Twitter took a field trip to Roastville.
I’m so Happy For Coach Fiz!!! It finally gives Coach Fiz a peace of mind and now the Knicks needs to address the real problem and that’s Steve Mills and Scott Perry!!!

David Fizdale was dealt a bad hand, but he also played it very poorly. The Knicks never established an identity or defined style of play on either side of the floor. Even the Process Sixers and tanking Nets were able to do that, and at times with obviously less talented teams.

when you’ve been informed you will now be paid millions to no longer coach the Knicks pic.twitter.com/aDIFWj2bKi

I don't think I will ever get over the fact that the Knicks allowed David Fizdale to run their practice today, talk to the media about tomorrow's game… and then fired him. Completely ridiculous.
