Nikola Jokic Hilariously Runs Away From Andre Iguodala Who Wants Him To Make Podcast Appearance
We all know that Nikola Jokic is seeing his NBA career as somewhat of a side quest, and that’s exactly what we love about him. For the Joker, basketball is a job. A job he doesn’t even like sometimes, if we believe the Finals MVP himself.
But on the other hand, Nikola Jokic is the best basketball player in the world right now, and has been for a good while. Jokic proved again just how great he is in his past two games. Against the Wizards, he finished with a 21 point, 19 rebound and 15 assist triple double, while making every single one of his 10 field goal attempts. Then, against the Blazers, Jokic followed it up with another triple double, finishing with 29 points, 15 rebounds and 14 assists, while shooting 70.6% from the field.
So it’s pretty obvious why Jokic is a man in great demand. The man himself however doesn’t care too much and isn’t a fan of doing any more media work than the absolutely necessary bare minimum… that also includes podcasts of current and former players.
This is something four-time champion, Andre Iguodala now hilariously found out about. While trying to recruit Jokic as a guest for his podcast, Iguodala first had to deal with an insanely quick and direct ‘no’, before Jokic started to run away from him. This is hilarious.
