Some NBA logos are more iconic than others, with the Miami Heat’s flaming basketball being one of the most iconic and recognizable.
36 years ago today, this flaming basketball was adopted as Miami’s official logo from over 1,000 entries sent in by fans and graphic designers. Mark Henderson eventually submitted the winning entry.
