Nike Is Releasing A Special Ja Morant ‘We Ain’t Ducking No Smoke’ Sneaker
Nike is releasing another colorway of their newest signature sneaker line for Ja Morant. The ‘Ja 1’s’ have been extremely popular despite the off-court scandals Morant has been embroiled in.
The newest colorway is called the ‘No Smoke’ colorway, featuring Morant’s iconic line ‘We Ain’t Ducking No Smoke’. The shoe will be available for purchase on official Nike websites and resellers for $130 from October 6 onwards.
Nike will be releasing a special colorer of Ja Morant’s signature Sneaker. The “We Ain’t Ducking No Smoke” edition will commemorate the Memphis Grizzlies star’s signature catchphrase, and is set to be released on October 6.
It will be available in limited quantities and features a black mesh upper with a light grey backing on the heel. The midsole and outsole are an off-white color, and black completes the tongue and sockliner. The Nike Swoosh is a hazy translucent material coated in smoke grey, playing into the theme. The key detail on these is the infamous quote from Ja Morant, “We Ain’t Ducking No Smoke,” inscribed on the outer heels. Morant’s number “12” appears in electric yellow on the heel tab and inner-tongue logos, as well as on one of the “JM” tongue logos.
