National Transportation Safety Board Released Investigative Findings From Kobe Bryant Helicopter Crash

Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were among the nine people on board the helicopter that crashed and left no survivors in Calabasas, California on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

Bryant only flew in helicopters with pilot Ara Zobayan, who also lost his life on that tragic day.

Now, over a year later, the National Transportation Safety Board has finally announced their investigative findings from the crash, and what has been rumored to be the cause, has been confirmed.

Zobayan had the chopper climb to 4,000 feet, but then descended rapidly in a left turn, which is a maneuver consistent with “spatial disorientation” in limited visibility, NTSB officials stated yesterday.
