Kyle Kuzma And Jerami Grant Emerge As Potential Dallas Mavericks Additions

The Western Conference is a bruising battle royale, where a slender margin separates playoff contenders from one another. This urgency has teams looking to upgrade their rosters, including the Dallas Mavericks.

Currently holding the sixth seed with a respectable 24-18 record, the Mavericks boast a dynamic backcourt led by Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. With their backcourt seemingly solidified, their sights look set on bolstering the frontcourt.

Taking this into account, Jerami Grant and Kyle Kuzma are two frontcourt additions linked to the team. These two productive players find themselves on rebuilding teams, and either could excel as a third option on a contender like the Mavericks.

Per HoopsHype:

The Mavericks have kept tabs on Jerami Grant in Portland, league sources told HoopsHype. Perhaps Kyle Kuzma could be added to this list in the coming weeks.

Rival executives point to some combination of Josh Green, Jaden Hardy, Grant Williams, and draft compensation as Dallas’ best chance of making a trade for a frontcourt upgrade.

Mavericks center Dereck Lively has drawn trade interest from rival teams, but Dallas has told those who’ve called he’s not for sale, league sources told HoopsHype.

Thus far, Dallas hasn’t been a healthy team, and will use the next few weeks to evaluate their team further to determine if a move is warranted.
