As he went up for the shot, contact was made with Clippers’ Paul George, leading to a block by Kawhi Leonard as the buzzer sounded.

The Sixers’ bench erupted, claiming a foul should have been called on George. In a post-game review, crew chief Kevin Scott admitted that a mistake had been made, acknowledging that George did indeed drift to his left, making contact with Oubre Jr. This admission has done little to quell the Sixers’ indignation, as the call—or lack thereof—denied Oubre Jr. the opportunity to potentially win the game at the free-throw line.
