Charles Barkley Thinks Luka Doncic Should Sit Out Game 4 To Rest Up For The Potential NBA Finals
The Dallas Mavericks have surprised everyone in the Western Conference Finals. Facing the Minnesota Timberwolves, who sent the defending champions home, very few expected the Mavericks to be up 3-0.
No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in NBA history. This commanding 3-0 lead, combined with the upcoming home game in Dallas, makes it seem like the series is all but over in favor of the Mavericks.
With the odds now heavily stacked in their favor, NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has made a surprising suggestion. He believes the Mavericks will win the series regardless and should rest Luka Doncic for Game 4 to rest up for the potential NBA Finals.
“Get the game over and I wouldn’t even play Luka in Game 4. If they get up 3-0… he gets almost two weeks off. He’s playing on one leg… He needs some rest.”
