You can’t discuss the best scorers in league history and skip Kevin Durant. Four scoring titles and a top-six all-time ranking make the case automatic.
But if you’re handing out the No. 1 scorer crown, now you’re splitting hairs. You’re stacking Durant against LeBron James who owns the all-time scoring record, Michael Jordan who has 10 scoring titles, and Kobe who gave us one of the most ridiculous scoring nights ever with 81 points.
Still, Durant’s former teammate and current NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins made it sound simple. He didn’t hesitate, calling Durant the greatest scorer in NBA history.
“He’s the greatest scorer to ever play the game of basketball. When you talk about a guy that has zero flaws, he’s Beyoncé on the offensive end.”
