Paul Pierce Says Knicks Didn’t Beat A Healthy Celtics Team, Expects Pacers To End Their Run

Who would’ve thought the New York Knicks would be the ones to take down the Boston Celtics this postseason? After a 4–2 series win, the Knicks are heading to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in 25 years. Boston, on the other hand, is left with questions about its roster and the recovery timeline for Jayson Tatum.

Of course, the series hasn’t come without debate. Tatum suffered an injury in Game 4 and didn’t return for the final two games. Even so, the Celtics managed to grab a win without him, giving some fans the belief that the series might have gone differently if Tatum had stayed on the floor.

Celtics legend Paul Pierce echoed a similar tone. In his view, the Knicks simply got past an injured Celtics team. He didn’t stop there either, as he believes the Indiana Pacers will take down the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals.

“Pacers gonna pop y’all. Pacers gonna get y’all… y’all beat an injured Celtics team.”
