During his press conference held ahead of the NBA Paris Games, Commissioner Adam Silver hinted at the possibility of bringing a regular-season game to Germany.

Silver shared the league’s ongoing exploration of opportunities to further include Europe in the NBA’s endeavors.

“We are looking very closely at potentially bringing a regular-season game to Germany,” Silver stated. “It is something our office in Europe is concentrating on at this precise time.”

On Thursday, Silver emphasized Germany’s strong interest in the NBA, while also noting that hosting regular-season games in different countries plays a crucial role in growing the league’s international presence and engaging fans worldwide. The NBA has previously seen success with international games, including those held in London, Paris and Mexico City. The spotlight turns to Germany as a potential hotspot for future NBA events.

Now, according to new information from an internal source who asked not to be named, the NBA Global Game in Berlin next year is confirmed. According to the source some remaining details are being finalized.

While there are no official informations yet, a game of the Orlando Magic, in the home town of Franz and Moritz Wagner, would be a logical consequence.
