Steve Kerr Isn’t Worried About Klay Thompson: “Klay Will Be Able To Shoot When He’s 75 Years Old”
After working his way back into form following the torn ACL he suffered during the 2019 NBA Finals, Klay Thompson received new devastating news when an injury he suffered this past offseason turned out to be an Achilles tear.
But Thompson, who will miss the entire season, is still with the team as often as his rehab allows him to, and he seems to be more than appreciated by every single one on the team.
His head coach Steve Kerr now made clear that the isn’t worried about Thompson when it’ll be time for him to return.
Ahead of the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Kerr was asked about his concern over Klay Thompson returning from two major surgeries. He replied by saying that he isn’t worried at all, while saying that Klay would still be able to shoot at the age of 75.
“Klay will be able to shoot when he’s 75 years old.”

Judging by the videos Klay posted of him taking shots during his rehabilitation. Kerr might be right.
