Shaquille O’Neal Sounds Off On Dennis Rodman For Crashing Photo With LeBron, Steph And Others During NBA 75: “My Mother Doesn’t Allow That.”

During the final moments of the ceremony of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team, a number of players gathered on stage to celebrate and take pictures with one another. One group who drew attention was the stars from the modern era.

The group included LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Curry, Chris Paul and Ray Allen. While the photo opportunity was taking place, former Chicago Bulls forward Dennis Rodman was seen joining alongside them while taking his blazer off for the picture.

While a number of fans didn’t mind Rodman crashing a photo with those modern stars, some observers took issue with it including former Los Angeles Lakers big man Shaquille O’Neal. Sharing his thoughts on The Big Podcast, O’Neal said he would’ve acted professionally if he was Rodman.

Per The Big Podcast with Shaq:

“My mother doesn’t allow that. I represent Dr. Lucille O’Neal. I don’t represent myself. I represent my momma and the other women in my life, Taahirah, Amirah, and Me’arah, I represent them. I’m going to be silly and do my stuff. But when it comes time to be professional, I will always be professional.”
