Robert Horry Believes LeBron James Should Skip The 2024 Paris Olympics With Team USA

After Team USA came up empty-handed in the FIBA World Cup, reports have emerged that LeBron James is considering a return to the national basketball team and is actively recruiting other star players to join him for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

LeBron is no stranger to international basketball competition, having come home with one bronze and two gold medals. His last appearance was in the 2012 London Olympics, where he won gold alongside teammates like Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade.

While many fans are thrilled about LeBron’s potential return to Team USA, seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry isn’t completely sold on the idea. Considering LeBron will be 39 and a veteran Olympian by 2024, Horry believes the legendary NBA icon has done enough for the country and might be better off giving his slot to a different star.

“I just think that he’s done enough for his country, done enough in his career. If he plays, I’m happy but I think that spot could go to some other superstar that’s out there, you know, like let’s say, you know whoever it may be, and let them get a chance to shine. But if he plays, I’m happy but when you get that many miles on your body, do you want to continue to put more miles on that body when you try to still build something you know.”
