Quin Snyder Seemingly Hints At His Future As Utah Jazz Head Coach: “It’s Been A Pleasure Coaching This Group”

After another disappointing exit in the NBA playoffs, it may be time for the Utah Jazz to truly evaluate the team and consider some big changes in the upcoming off-season. One possible scenario for the Jazz is to replace head coach Quin Snyder.

Snyder has been coaching the Jazz since the 2015 NBA season. In eight seasons with the team, he has compiled a record of 368 wins and 258 losses. While Snyder is still under contract for one more season, there’s been a lot of noise surrounding his name which all points out to his potential exit from the team.

The rumors have grown thicker after Snyder seemingly hinted at his future as Jazz head coach during his appearance in their post-game interview following their loss against the Dallas Mavericks.

“I am incredibly proud of this team, the way that we competed tonight,” Snyder said. “Obviously, the result speaks for itself, but it was a pleasure coaching this group. … This has been a great team to coach, and I love these guys. I love having the opportunity to coach them and grow with them.”
