Nike Drops Amazing Kobe 5 Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ In Honor Of Kobe’s Admiration For The Martial Arts Legend

Shortly after Kobe Bryant’s tragic death on January 26, Nike temporarily removed all Kobe merchandise from Nike.com, while a search for ‘Kobe’ or ‘Kobes’ on the website directed you to an in Memory page, that Nike set up.

Nike then released new Kobe Protro 5s as well as a Kobe “8/24” Lakers jersey on Mamba week in August. Now, today, Nike dropped the much awaited Kobe 5 Protro ‘Bruce Lee’.

The shoe is inspired by Kobe Bryant’s love and admiration for the martial arts legend and they look amazing. 

“Rise like a legend. Strike like a mamba. The Kobe 5 Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ is inspired by Kobe Bryant’s love for the legendary martial arts master and icon.”

The Kobe 5 Protro ‘Bruce Lee’ arrives on November 24 in the U.S., and on November 27 in select regions globally.

While the sneakers are already sold out in the U.S., the international drop will take place on November 27, and offers another chance.
