NBA Twitter Destroys Trae Young For His ‘We Next’ Statement

Trae Young is one of the most exciting players in the NBA. He is a dynamic scorer and playmaker who has led the Atlanta Hawks to the playoffs in three straight years. However, Young has also been criticized for his on-court antics and his lack of leadership.
Some critics have accused Young of being too immature and lacking the leadership qualities necessary to be a true superstar. Young has also been criticized for his lack of defense. Young also drew plenty of criticism following his disputes with former Hawks head coach Nate McMillan, that eventually led to the franchise firing the proven coach.
While the two-time All-Star definitely likes to be a villain, his statements sometimes really are over the top – after the Denver Nuggets won the 2023 NBA Championship for example, when Young boldly stated that the Atlanta Hawks are allegedly next to win the title.
