Many Team USA Players Struggle To Spin Basketball On Their Fingers

While Team USA’s preparations for the FIBA World Cup got off to a rocky start on Friday, when they suffered back-to-back losses to the Select Team in scrimmages, they redeemed themselves a day later with a blowout victory in a three quarter long scrimmage game.

With the feeling of redemption, it was then time for some team building and fun exercises, one of which was spinning a basketball on their fingers. 

Surprisingly many of the players weren’t able to get the trick done.

Team USA is looking to rebound from a disappointing performance at the 2019 FIBA World Cup. Team USA finished seventh in that tournament, their worst finish since 1994.

The 2023 FIBA World Cup will be held in Japan, the Philippines, and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10.
