LeBron James Praised Anthony Calling Him A Unicorn, Saying He Does Things No Other Teammate Of His Has Been Capable Of

After a disappointing Game 1, the Los Angeles Lakers bounced back last night and were able to celebrate a blowout win over the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 2.

It was the Lakers’ first playoff win since 2012, when Kobe Bryant scored 36 points against the Kevin Durant, James Harden and Russell Westbrook led Oklahoma City Thunder.

The man of the night for the purple and gold was seven time All-Star Anthony Davis, who scored very efficient 31 points and added 11 rebounds.

This performance led to LeBron James praising his teammate after the game, calling Davis a unicorn, saying that he’s never had a teammate who was capable of doing the things Davis is doing, while saying the same thing about Dwyane Wade and Kyrie Irving:

“I’ve had some great teammates in my career. AD is one of those unicorns and he does things some of my other great teammates are not capable of doing. But in the same sense, I’ve played with Dwyane Wade and he could do some things that AD is not capable of doing.

And I also played with Kyrie Irving and he could do things that  D-Wade and AD are not capable of doing. So, I’ve had the luxury of playing with some great players, and that’s just three of them.”
