Kenyon Martin Believes LeBron Should’ve Gone Beyond Words With Ime Udoka

The matchups between the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers this season have been consistently engaging, largely due to the tension between LeBron James and Dillon Brooks. However, in their latest encounter, it was Rockets coach Ime Udoka, not Brooks, who got into a spat with LeBron.

The confrontation took place during a tense moment in the fourth quarter of the game. Udoka began talking from the sideline, quickly drawing the attention of the 38-year-old Lakers superstar. It was mentioned that Udoka’s use of the word “b—h” was the reason for LeBron’s reaction.

The incident led to technical fouls being assessed to both James and Udoka, with Udoka subsequently being ejected for his second technical foul.

Fans and observers have been quick to react to and discuss the incident. Former NBA forward Kenyon Martin, for instance, suggested that LeBron should have escalated the situation with Udoka beyond just what he said.

“For a coach to have those things to say, I think Bron should’ve taken it a little further in that moment. You callin’ people bitches out here, let’s see who your talkin’ about, dog?”
