Kawhi Leonard Comments On Team’s Struggles With James Harden: “Four Guys On The Floor That Are Used To Having A Ball”

James Harden’s arrival to the Los Angeles Clippers was meant to boost their performance, but it hasn’t worked out as they wished. Since bringing in Harden, the Clippers haven’t won a game, with their record standing at 0-4.

In these four games, Harden is averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game on 47.2% shooting from the field. He’s also attempting only 9.0 field goals per game, marking one of the lowest rates in his career.

Not only is Harden adjusting, but the entire team is as well, leading to their losing streak. Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard clearly understands these challenges and emphasized this in an interview when asked about their failure to win with Harden.

“Obviously like I said, we have four guys on the floor that are used to having a ball, used to finding a rhythm just by feeling and touching it all game,” he said postgame, per Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times. “You could see it, you kind of seen it with Luka and Kyrie last year. They was trying to figure it out.”
