Hapoel Tel Aviv Fans Light Up Arena In Hamburg During EuroCup Game

Last night, had the Hamburg Towers host Hapoel Tel Aviv in the EuroCup  The Hamburg Towers, who normally do not sell out their arena, were able to celebrate a new attendance record in the EuroCup, which was largely due to the presence of ultras from the local football club FC St. Pauli and guest fans from Israel.

For many years, the Ultras Hapoel and Ultra Sankt Pauli maintained close fan friendships. Many Hapoel supporters used the EuroCup away match in Hamburg to visit their friends.

The Hamburg Towers described the passionate atmosphere in the arena as “deafening sound, smoke flares, and Bengal lights.” Smoke flares and Bengal lights… INSIDE? What can be seen in Turkish, Greek or Serbian basketball arenas regularly, normally isn’t a thing in Germany.
