Forget The Conspiracy, Kobe Not Flinching Wasn’t Human And It Won’t Ever Be!

One of the ‘most Kobe’ moments ever took place on March 7, 2010.

In the third quarter between Kobe’s Lakers and the Orlando Magic, an inbounds play became one of the most iconic moments of the Millennium. Orlando’s Matt Barnes attempted to make Kobe flinch on an inbounds pass. He faked throwing the ball right at Kobe’s face. But Bryant didn’t move at all. More so, he didn’t even flinch.

Then, yesterday, some pictures from an above angle popped up all around social media. In that angle, it seems as the ball wasn’t even facing Kobe.

I’ve rewatched the scene from various angles numerous times now and came to the conclusion that it indeed was unhuman to not flinch in this situation. The ball indeed was this close and Kobe didn’t flinch. There is no conspiracy, Kobe even backed it up himself yesterday and said:

“You gotta remember I was swaying. He did it and I didn’t balk.”
