Everything You Need To Know From Last Night’s Games (11/16/2016)

 

– The Cavaliers were without LeBron James and JR Smith as they traveled to Indiana to take on the Pacers.

– The Cavs were close the whole contest but couldn’t overcome the deficit as the Pacers kept them at arms length with about a 10 point cushion all night long.

– Kevin Love had 27 and 16 rebounds, Paul George had 21 points and 11 rebounds.

– The 76ers defeated the Wizards in Philly without Joel Embiid.

– The Wizards continue to struggle.

– Orlando survived against the Pelicans at home to take the win.

– Anthony Davis did not play.

– Balanced scoring from the Magic gets them over the line.

– The Celtics and Mavericks play an entertaining game in Boston.

– Harrison Barnes carries the Mavericks down the stretch and some big shots from Wes Mathews makes it interesting but the Celtics got timely stops and huge shots from Avery Bradley and Isaish Thomas sealed the deal.

– Thomas had 30 on the night.

– The Knicks and the Pistons went down to the wire in New York.

– The Knicks held a once 19 point lead but the stubborn Pistons would not go away and climbed their way all back into the contest.

– Ish Smith hits a three to tie the game.

– Derrick Rose puts the Knicks up 3, splitting two free throws at the end.

– Final play of the game for a tie, Kentavious Caldwell Pope had a great clean open look but it hit back iron and the Knicks hung on.

– Kristaps Porzingis had a monster AND1 that included a scary fall.

– Porzingis has a career high 35 points on the night.

– The Hawks played a close one with the Bucks but got the win.

– Another balanced scoring effort from the Hawks gets them the W.

– The Greek Freak had 26 and 15 rebounds.

– The Thunder fought all the way back to beat the Rockets at home.

– A crazy sequence towards the end of the game saw James Harden get an open look at the top of the key to put the Rockets ahead but it didn’t go down.

– Victor Oladipo had a great night with 29 points and 10 rebounds.

– Russell Westbrook hits a huge three and dunks all over Clint Capela to win the game.

– The Raptors and Warriors were fun, with the Warriors prevailing.

– Golden State opened up a big lead, but the Raptors showed heart in the second half.

– They fought back and got it within single digits but didn’t have enough in the end to win.

– DeRozan dropped 34.

– Steph Curry and Kevin Durant combine for 65 points.

– Nuggets beat the Suns.

– Wilson Chandler with 28 points and 11 rebounds.

– Kenneth Faried with 20 points and 15 rebounds.

– Brandon Knight had 32 points.

– The Spurs went on the road and downed the Kings.

– 20 and over for Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol.

– The Grizzlies and Clippers play a wild one in Los Angeles.

– It looked as though the Clippers would hold after a Chris Paul jumper, but a bad mistake from Jamal Crawford giving up possession ended up with a dagger Marc Gasol three pointer to ice the game.
