Erik Spoelstra Thinks Nikola Vucevic Is A Modern-Day Dirk Nowitzki

The Orlando Magic haven’t been making enough damage so far this season, but if there’s one thing to admire and like within this 13-26 Orlando team – it’s the fact that they have star center Nikola Vucevic, who continues to be a force and make this struggling team worth-watching.

Quite similar to several of their games, the Orlando Magic experienced a few lapses on Sunday’s game which ultimately restricted the team from holding off Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat, losing the competitive game with a score of 97 to 102.

Despite the loss, Orlando big man Nikola Vucevic still managed to put on a show, finishing the game with 38 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists on 55.6% shooting from the field. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra was really impressed and turned vocal, comparing the two-time Magic All-Star to Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki.

In his postgame comments tonight, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra had high praise for Magic All-Star Nikola Vucevic. "It feels like you're looking at the modern-day Dirk Nowitzki," Spoelstra said.
