Entire NBA World Pays Respect To Former Commissioner David Stern

2020 started with sad news for the NBA world. Former NBA commissioner David Stern passed away yesterday afternoon, after suffering a a brain hemorrhage on December 12 and spending three weeks hospitalized in serious condition following an emergency surgery.

Stern was 77 years old, and leaves behind a legacy of growing the game of basketball. He was the league’s commissioner for 30 years, from 1984 to 2014. Without him, the NBA wouldn’t be the great product it is today, especially from a global perspective.

After the sad news of his passing, the NBA world paid their respect to Stern. Rest in Peace, David!
