Ja Morant rose to the occasion during this past NBA season as he averaged 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game on 49.3% shooting from the field and ended up winning the Most Improved Player of the Year award.

In the playoffs, Morant was just fearless through and through. Whether it was against the Minnesota Timberwolves or the Golden State Warriors, the 23-year old Grizzlies star was constantly chirping with his opponents, letting them know that he was not backing down from the challenge.

In a recent episode of “The Draymond Green Show”, Draymond was asked which younger NBA player reminds him the most of himself, and he responded by saying that it’s Ja Morant.

And the feeling appears to be mutual as both have great respect for one another.

After it was revealed that the Warriors will face the Grizzlies on Christmas Day, Morant was excited, while Green invited the Grizzlies All-Star over to his house for Christmas dinner.
