Channing Frye Thinks Shaquille O’Neal Should Be Included In The GOAT Conversation

The GOAT debate has been raging on for quite some time now, especially after LeBron James has turned in one of the best careers in NBA history with four rings, four Finals MVP awards, four NBA MVPs and 18 All-Star selections.

As it stands now, the GOAT debate has been a battle between him and six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan, with the latter being the more popular pick. While this isn’t a problem to many, some people like Channing Frye feels like it’s disrespectful that the debate is very limited to certain players.

Sharing his thoughts on “Road Trippin’”, the former Cleveland Cavaliers sharpshooter has made it known that he’s bothered that the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, who is arguably the most dominant player in NBA history, gets constantly snubbed in every GOAT conversation.

“I just get mad when people don’t include Shaq in the conversation,” Frye said. “It’s hard to be, one, for that long in this league and to be unanimously respected. Like, there cannot be one person who is just the greatest. That’s so disrespectful it, like, bothers me. Everyone loves this conversation, but stop it, because the things that you judge it by is never the same.”
