Charles Oakley Says Some Of Today’s Players Should Be Wearing Dresses

The never ending story of former NBA players claiming that today’s players are soft and weak, has another new chapter.

Earlier this year, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr shared some words with Dennis Rodman, who was notorious for missing games to attend Wrestlemania or travel to Las Vegas. Rodman spoke out about today’s players being soft because they rest and that Michael Jordan never took off.

Kerr said:

“I saw Dennis Rodman was complaining about it, and I got a good kick out of that, cause I thought, well Dennis was suspended for 15 games a year anyway, he got plenty of rest. Or Vegas, or he went to Wrestlemania. He just took a night off whenever he wanted, so he can’t complain.”

Now, the latest offensive comment on today’s players comes from Charles Oakley, who was speaking at the BIG 3 event in Dalls this past weekend. Oakley was very present in the news as of late, due to the in-game fiasco that occurred on February 8, 2017, when Madison Square Garden security flocked to Oakley after a supposed order by Knicks owner James Dolan to remove the Knick great. “Oak” was later charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and criminal trespassing. Since, Oakley has regretted putting his hands on Knicks security, but is still appalled by the way the franchise has treated him.

He now said that some of today’s players are too sensitive, and should be wearing dresses.
