C.J. McCollum Turned His Bubble Hotel Room Into A 60 Degree Cold Wine Cellar

Now that most NBA players have been in the NBA Bubble for over a month, many have tried their best to make their hotel rooms into personal little homes.

Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum though went a little overboard and turned his room into a legitimate wine cellar.

McCollum, who owns his own wine label called ‘McCollum Heritage 91’, loves wine and brought 84 bottles with him into the Bubble.

While that doesn’t sound too crazy, this next part will. C.J. keeps the temperature in his room at exactly 60 degrees Fahrenheit  (15.5 degrees Celsius) when he’s inside the room, and cools it further down to the ‘mid-to-high’ 50s (12-14 degrees Celsius) when he’s out.

Per ESPN:

“He keeps the temperature around 60 degrees when he’s inside it and in the mid-to-high 50s when he’s not, all in an effort to protect the 84 bottles that he keeps in boxes, out of the light. For the most part, McCollum shipped in pinot noir from Oregon, where he is a member at several local wineries, along with the first bottling of his own recently released wine, McCollum Heritage 91, also an Oregon pinot noir.”
