AIR – Movie About Nike’s Pursuit Of Michael Jordan Releases Its First Trailer

What started as a shoe deal for a rookie player, ended up being a billion dollar subsidiary for Nike – Jordan Brand.
Jordan Brand not only sponsors plenty of active NBA stars, but also sponsor other leagues such as the MLB, NFL, NASCAR, WNBA, as well as Paris Saint-Germain.
Turns out Nike can thank its biggest competitor Adidas for the entre Jordan company. How? Well, back in 1984, Michael Jordan himself wanted to sign with Adidas, but Adidas executives opted for taller players.
Last year it was announced that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are writing, producing and starring in a movie about the story of how Nike signed Jordan.
Now, the movie with the title “AIR” released its first trailer and it looks amazing!
