After Three Years, The NBA Will Be Back In Paris On January 19, 2023

The NBA Global Games are finally back, after an almost three year long hiatus due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The NBA announced today that the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons will play a regular-season game on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Accor Arena in Paris.

For the Bulls, it will be their third visit to Paris after playing two preseason games in the French capital in 1997. For the Pistons, it will be their first game in France, after having previously played regular-season games in London (2013) and Mexico City (2019). 

The 2023 NBA Paris Game will be the first NBA game in Europe since 2020 and the league’s 12th game in France since 1991. The 2020 NBA Paris Game – the NBA’s first regular season game in Paris – took place on January 24, 2020 and was played between the Charlotte Hornets and the Milwaukee Bucks.
