Video released by the Scottsdale Police Department has added a public visual record to what is already an unwelcome development for the Phoenix Suns: forward Dillon Brooks was arrested early Friday morning in Scottsdale on suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to police, Brooks was stopped around 1 a.m., taken into custody after an investigation, booked, and released roughly a few hours later.

For now, the facts are straightforward, and it is important to keep them that way. Brooks was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was later released. The Suns have not offered further comment beyond acknowledging the incident. Any legal outcome, disciplinary response, or league action remains to be seen.
