Golden State finally joined the offseason shuffle, adding Al Horford, Seth Curry, and De’Anthony Melton while securing Jonathan Kuminga’s return. Solid moves, but the Warriors’ track record suggests they rarely stop at solid.
This is the same franchise that shocked the league by signing Kevin Durant and, more recently, swung for Jimmy Butler. Going after marquee names is nothing out of the ordinary for Golden State. And now people are buzzing about Bam Adebayo being the next one.
The Miami Heat aren’t scaring anybody right now, and the trade rumors have been circling. If Adebayo seeks a more competitive environment and Miami chooses to retool, the Warriors might be ready to pounce.
Per ClutchPoints:
“Bam Adebayo is another All-Star in the East who would be at the top of the Warriors’ list of potential trade targets if he were to ever request a trade from the Miami Heat, sources said.” Brett Siegel reported.
