New York Fashion Week is known for its glitz, glamour, and celebrity sightings. But for NBA star Jalen Green and actress Draya Michele, the night took a sharp turn into chaos. The couple was filmed in a tense, late-night argument outside The Manor hotel in SoHo, following a high-profile afterparty hosted by designer Mer Alas.
The footage shows Michele rushing toward Green as he walks ahead, visibly agitated. Two friends attempted to intervene, pleading,
“Stop, stop, stop… everybody going to get into trouble. Everybody forgive each other!”
Despite their efforts, the couple continued to exchange words as they made their way down the sidewalk, with one friend eventually guiding Michele away from the confrontation.

The exact cause of the argument remains unclear, but the timing and intensity have fueled speculation. Green, 23, and Michele, 40, have been under public scrutiny since they began dating in 2023, largely due to their 17-year age gap.
This isn’t the first time their dynamic has drawn attention. Michele has previously addressed criticism over their age difference, saying,
“You try to get to that point where you don’t give a f***, but you’re still human and you still have feelings”.
Michele appeared unfazed hours later, posting a lighthearted Instagram Story of their toddler strolling through New York City.
She also leaned into humor, sharing a trending meme that repeated, “Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday,” seemingly deflecting attention from the drama.
The altercation comes amid a period of transition for the couple. Green was recently traded from the Houston Rockets to the Phoenix Suns in a blockbuster deal that also involved Kevin Durant. Michele has spoken openly about the stress of the move, saying she’s focused on making things “smooth and convenient” for Green so he can focus on basketball.
