New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson faces serious allegations following a civil lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, May 29, 2025. The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, claims to have been in a relationship with Williamson from 2018 to June 2023, during which she alleges multiple instances of sexual assault, physical abuse, and threatening behavior.

According to the complaint, Doe alleges that in September and October 2020, while Williamson was training in Beverly Hills, he raped her on two separate occasions. She further claims that Williamson engaged in a pattern of abusive conduct, including choking, smothering, and threatening her life, as well as the lives of her parents. The lawsuit details incidents across multiple states, including Louisiana and California, and includes accusations of stalking, unauthorized surveillance, and physical assault.

The legal action brings nine causes of action against Williamson, encompassing assault, battery, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, domestic violence, stalking, burglary, false imprisonment, and conversion. Doe’s attorney, Sam Taylor of the Lanier Law Firm, stated,

“Our client looks forward to her day in court before a jury of her peers to obtain justice in this matter.”

As of now, neither Williamson nor his representatives have publicly responded to the allegations. The New Orleans Pelicans and the NBA have also not issued official statements regarding the lawsuit.
