Joe Ingles Hijacks PA Mic, Hilariously Interrupts Rudy Gobert’s Media Availability

The Minnesota Timberwolves were locked in preparation for Game 4 of their Western Conference Semifinals against the Golden State Warriors, but that didn’t stop Joe Ingles from injecting some humor into the morning shootaround.

As Rudy Gobert was addressing reporters at Chase Center, Ingles stumbled upon the public address microphone—and he couldn’t resist the opportunity to have some fun. 

With Gobert mid-answer, Ingles grabbed the mic and boomed his teammate’s name across the arena.

“Ruuuuudy! Ruuuuuuudy!” Ingles called out, his voice echoing through the empty stadium.

The unexpected interruption drew laughter from Gobert and the assembled media, though Gobert barely missed a beat, continuing his response with a smile.
