Devin Booker Makes History As Phoenix Suns’ All-Time Leading Scorer

In a momentous achievement, Devin Booker has officially become the Phoenix Suns’ all-time leading scorer, surpassing the legendary Walter Davis’s record of 15,666 points. Booker reached this milestone during a game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night, securing his place in Suns history.

Booker, who needed 23 points to break Davis’s record, achieved the feat with a 3-pointer in the third quarter. The Suns’ star finished the game with 34 points, bringing his career total to 15,678 points. The crowd erupted in cheers as Booker hugged his family members and received a loud ovation from fans in Portland.

Since being drafted 13th overall by the Suns in the 2015 NBA Draft, he has consistently delivered amazing performances. He has averaged 24.4 points per game over his career, shooting 46.3% overall and 35.6% from deep. His peak scoring season came in 2022-23, when he averaged 27.8 points per game.

The Suns’ community and fans have celebrated Booker’s achievement, recognizing his dedication and hard work over the years. Suns coach Mike Budenholzer praised Booker’s connection to the franchise and the region, stating,

“The city loves Devin.”
