Patrick Beverley has played with plenty of stars during his 12 years in the NBA. Five of those years were alongside James Harden on the Houston Rockets, while two were spent with Kawhi Leonard on the Los Angeles Clippers.
During a recent link-up with content creator Neon, Beverley shared insights about his former teammates. He described Leonard and Harden as the two most hardworking players he’s been around in the league.
“[Kawhi Leonard] and James [Harden] are probably [the two most] hardworking players I’ve ever been around in my entire life… LeBron [James] is really gifted. He’s two, three plays ahead.”

Hearing that about Harden might make you stop for a second, given all the stories about his clubbing and looking out of shape at times. But at 35, Harden’s role in keeping the Clippers in the playoff picture adds some credence to them.
Leonard tends to stay under the radar, with injuries often keeping him off the court. Beverley’s comments about Leonard’s work ethic are refreshing, especially given his time out of the spotlight. Last season, he was an All-NBA Second Team selection. It’ll be interesting to see if Leonard can pick up where he left off once he recovers from his injury this season.
