The Miami Heat’s Overtime Statistics Are Scary Good
Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are two of the main reasons why the Miami Heat have been one of the biggest surprises of the 2019-2020 season.
Adebayo is an early candidate for the MIP award, and Jimmy Butler has fully embraced the leader role the Heat had in mind when trading for him this past summer.
When it comes to overtime games, the opposing team shouldn’t even step on the court, because the result, a Heat win, is inevitable. It sounds crazy but the Heat’s overtime statistics are absolutely insane.
The team’s record in overtimes games this season now is 8-0. Even more impressive is Miami outscoring their opponents 102-52 in these eight overtimes.
Heat has outscored teams by absurd 102-52 in OT this season https://t.co/8puXe4V7TI
